About

New York City-based designer Zamir Zarruk Estrada pursues the beauty of detail in his work. Raised in Bucaramanga, Colombia, Zamir grew up surrounded by rich biodiversity and cultural identities, which now play a key role in the ideas behind his work.

Jokingly nicknamed “classroom sketcher” by some of his not-so-encouraging high school teachers, Zamir responded by deciding to formalize his passion and interest in artistic expression by pursuing (and completing) his BFA in Architectural Design at Parsons School of Design. There, he allowed himself to explore options beyond his limits, which led to an expansion of his skillsets, learning about photography, writing, music and marketing.

Having worked alongside various artists in NYC, Zamir’s love for communicating ideas has funneled his desire to market through details.
